Come hear Robby's Voice Oct. 6

The public is invited to “Break the Silence,” a special presentation by Robby’s Voice at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at Cloverleaf Elementary School. The event is sponsored by the Cloverleaf Community Prevention Coalition.

Robby’s Voice is a community-based organization focused on promoting awareness and education surrounding drug addiction. In Ohio, accidental drug overdoses kill 1,460 people a year – that’s four sons, daughters, siblings, friends, moms and dads each day. Prescription drugs have replaced vehicle accidents as the No. 1 cause of accidental death in the United States.

Drawing on real-life experiences, Robby’s Voice confronts the sensitive issues surrounding the epidemic of substance abuse and the devastation it causes – not only impacting the individual who is addicted, but the entire circle of family and friends.

Resources on drug addiction will be available following the 45- to 60-minute presentation. Cloverleaf Elementary School is located at 8337 Friendsville Road, Seville. For more, visit www.robbysvoice.com. You may also click the link below for a printable brochure.

Cloverleaf students will have the additional opportunity to hear the message of Robby's Voice Oct. 3 at Cloverleaf High School and on Oct. 14 for seventh- and eighth-graders at Cloverleaf Middle School. Organized by Cloverleaf Schools Prevention Services, this event is made possible through funding by the Medina County Drug Abuse Commission.
