The Cloverleaf High School Mock Trial Team has advanced to the state finals for the first time in school history. On Feb. 20 at the Regional Mock Trial Tournament in Akron, the team went 2-0 to finish fourth out of 27 teams, qualifying Cloverleaf to compete in the state finals March 12-13 in Columbus.

The team consists of Jack Gerber, Ashley Meece, Lauren Kasper, Tessa Coudriet, Sierra Jarrell and Grace Turner. Gerber, a senior, was named Best Attorney of the regional competition. The team’s adviser is Cloverleaf High School Social Studies teacher Craig Farrar.
