CMS students pen winning essays

A trio of Cloverleaf sixth-grade students won top spots in the annual Medina County Auditor’s Memorial Day Essay Contest.

Grace Donnelly took second place, Richard Lawrence earned fourth place and Cara Buonocore placed fifth. Each student read his or her essay during the award ceremony. More than 150 essays reflecting on the meaning of Memorial Day were submitted by sixth-graders from around Medina County.
